I’ve never run into a reason to hardsub a VFR video before, and now that I have I can say VFR is total shit. Not only is it a pain in the ass to deal with the documentation sucks. Soft subbing it? Sure yeah just mux it, hard subbing? Good luck.

VFR should just die.

Fully timed by me, slacked a bit (if you look very close) as well as karaoke and AFX subtitling. Video/Audio was pulled from Episode 01 from [RaX] and sadly reencoded by me.

I obviously need to redo some of the timing because it’s off and I can see it – will do when I have the chance.

AFX + Kanji

If anyone is good with kanji, can trans into kanji, and has the ability to time I was looking to add some kanji to an OP/END as a small project and would be of great help.

Soul Eater Opening # 2

Just the opening with the Japanese karaoke, didn’t do anything too technical but mostly just playing around in AFX. I’ may or may not get around to adding the English part to it; was more for transitional work and practice for me. (used Tadashi’s [の愛情] translation for it)

I’ve included ~~two~~ three versions in the DLC, let me know what you think. (and yes they are stylized slightly different – I prefer C A) The more I look at them the more my preference changes.

AFX Subbing!?!?

Well I just got my hands on Adobe After Effects, so I get to now learn how to do AFX Subbing, so if any afx typesetter/karaoke artist happens to know of some good pointers or a tutorial, leave me a comment or send me the info through the contact form. Also I’m still willing to accept any help in any field of the process (raw/trans/encode/type/edit/qc/distro) just leave me a note.

As new information has been brought to my attention, we will be switching over to the jdownloader DLC format for releases from now on. Also a plus is now our encrypted downloads are no longer limited to only windows users.

note: all previous releases will be rereleased in this format, and placed in the 100,000,000 byte chunks just as TGF was, expect v2′s for Berserk 01-04 (typesetting and karaoke for those that it matters to)

Status Update

No extra staff just yet, still solitary me. Seems CryptLoad isn’t going to update to 2.0 for a while now, and I’m begining to hate megaupload – So starting at this moment I’ll be releasing mediafire links directly ONLY. If anyone wishes to help out with anything at all, do let me know and come next season I/We should be doing new release shows should I study enough or we obtain a translator, and any pointers are welcome.

And I’ll release the movie within the next few days.
